well ive just put 6 cories in my tank and i cant believe how well they clean up... didnt expect this at all... do they really eat poop?

They dont eat poo, but do eat any food that sinks to the bottom that the other fish cant/wont eat.

They definatly don't eat their own poo, when I moved my corys from my Betta tank to the big tank the gravel was surprisingly clean when I did the weekly water change.

No the Corys don't eat poo.

They are subseptible to infections from dirty substrate though. So try to keep it vacumed regularly.

But there's nothing left tp vacum by the morning..... the sand is perfectly clean

Maybe its being sifted under the sand?

Since cories will sift through and even dig through the top layer of sand, you may see less visible but that doesn't remove the wastes from the tank.
