Plant: Riccardia Graefei aka Coral Pellia. They grow great in my non-Co2 tanks and love a lot of light, but will grow slowly in shade too. Just attach like any other moss and it will gradually attach to hard surfaces by growing into it. Algae-free and ready to go.
Quantity for sale: See Photos, each bag is one portion
Reason for Sale: so others can enjoy
Delivery or Collection: Both
Sales price: £6/portion. 2 portions available. Price reflects the fact that this is a large portion and the plant grows slowly compared to other mosses.

I love the look of this moss, but how easy is it to keep? It would be my first plant, so can I just attatch it to a rock and let it grow on its own, or will it need more care?

I personally find coral pellia easy to grow. It definitely likes bright light, and it is growing in Ph6.5, Kh6, 24C in my tank. It is a slow grower though. The most difficult part is attaching it to hardscape in the beginning because coral pellia is brittle, and difficult to manipulate. One trick that worked for me is to use crazy glue on it. Otherwise you can stuff it into nooks and crannies or use fishing line to tie it down permanently. That said, it will attach to hard scape as it grows, but it take a little while. It also helps if you dont have big fish/shrimp constantly messing with it. And yes, it is a super cool moss/liverwort. Hope that helps.
