so the other day i went and bought a heliofungia coral! very nice indeed at first i thought it was an anemone but after talking to the lfs guy he assured me it wasnt! He also said they will feed well if given shrimp and crab meat now and again! my question is can i use tinned crab meat for it or not? Also what kind of shrimp?
thanks

Do you have Cyclopeeze over there? I'd stay away from that stuff (high nitrates) and try some mysid shrimp or enriched brine shrimp. Just easier. sH

i dont know about cyclopzeeze so just buy a small bag of live brineshrimp and place them into the tank to swim ntil eaten and the coral will get them ok??

You could do that, tho', it's baby brine shrimp that make for good zooplankton. If you had the time and patience, you could hatch them yourself. They sell kits for like $8-12. Live brine are nutritionally poor, hence, the frozen brine is 'enriched'. See if you can find Cyclopeeze over there. SH
