Coral Beatuy Reef Safe?

I was wondering if the coral beauty would be reef safe because I know its part of that angel group and almost all angels aren't reef safe but I Read somewhere it was so thanks. dave

My CB has never touched any of my corals, but I would say it depends on the fish itself

Mine has the occasional nip at new corals but nothing that's caused lasting damage, that's in the 18 months i've had it.

Mine has never touched my corals. It depends on the personaility of the fish though.

Most people say that they are 50/50 for being reef safe, with the most popular vote going towards reef safe. Meaning that one will more than likely be ok, but be aware it may not go well.

And sometimes they will be ok as they are still young, then develop a taste for corals as they age.

among the dwarf angels cb's seem to have a slightly better reputation in reefs. i've had mine since october '05 and it's been good so far, only eating the food i feed it and occasionally nipping at the liverock in search of algae. i'm keeping my fingers crossed that it stays an "angel" in my reef & doesn't decide it likes the taste of any of my corals.
