OK so i cheekily bid on this Peice of Driftwood at a stupidly low offer.
And the seller Accepted.

It will Look awesome after soaking in the Butts for a few weeks. Will Have yo alter it as it is little tooo Big ATM


It is 35" long and approx 2 1/4" around the thickest branch piece

Been wanting to try th stick idea looking @ Rains and Stevens tanks.

Nope Using Rain Water Butts in the Garden - The 1 wih Goldfish in it.

Don't want to be the bearer of bad news but that looks like a dried branch rather than driftwood. There's no way a piece of driftwood would have small twigs like that on it after any length of time in the water. They'd have been broken off by wave action etc. I think you might have just bought dried branches.

Not sure how long they will last in an aquarium. Keep an eye on it.

I could be totally wrong though! Nice looking piece.

Yeah i know what you mean, But a Long Good Soak in the Watter Butts should do the trick anyway.

The wood arrived just like the pic without any breakages.

Is soaking in the Butt now and wil stay there for a while. While i think how to use it.

Some of the ADG people use normal dry branches, they just jet wash or sand blast them and weigh them down, so if it works for them it should work for you!!!
