K well i came up with this idea...if i get a hood that can fit two lights would it be possible for me to set up one bulb socket w/ a moonled light thing and the other with a normal 30 watt bulb. Then durring the day i can set the regular bulb on, and when it hits midnight i can have the moon light led on. The question i have is if this is possilbe to do easily... and, like other bulbs if you leave them on for more than 12 hours a day algae comes up like crazy everywhere, and it pisses off the fish. Would a moon light/led have the same thing? I was thining that since its a LED it wouldnt have the same as a flourecent?

The answer is maybe, depending on your definition of "easily" and the type of lighting you have now. You'll have to fabricate a mounting hardware and install a cold cathode lamp like smithrc has done, or install LED moonlight. Moonlight flourescent doesn't exist (AFIK). The moonlight just doesn't have the intensity to grow algae, or bother the fish, so you could leave it on all day if you wanted to. You'll have to get a separate timer for the moonlight. Check out the cold cathode moonlight here or LED moonlight here.
