Think i already know the answer but going to ask anyway after just watching the vid with the convicts and how cool they are. I got a 29 gal tank with the following :

5 guppies
4 tiger barbs

Just finishing cycle now (day 2 of 0 for amm and nitrites and such)

Stocking list : barbs are getting rehomed

5 guppies (will end up keeping 2 females out of one of the batches since I got 3 male and 2 female now) Also have a place to offload any guppies I do not wish to keep or when they start breeding like mad :good:
5 or 6 of some sort of tetra or cherry barb
BN cat

Here's the question part was orginally looking at a breeding pair of GBR, Kribs or Keyholes. Now with that said could 2 convicts go in the tank as well reason asking didn't know with it being a 29 gal tank if they both would have enough room for territories or size issues? I know at least for the Kribs, keyholes and convicts my LFS would gladly take any offspring as they sell very well for them and have a hard time keeping their stocks of them up.

29gal tank is enough for a breeding pair of convicts if they are alone in there. I wouldnt suggest putting a breeding pair of convicts in with any of those fish you have listed though. They are EXTREMELY aggressive when breeding. They will ravage any other fish in a 29 gal tank, being because of the tank size. I have my breeding pair in a 55gal tank, and they have claimed half the tank to themselves, and anything that gets close, gets attacked. Now the only other fish in the 55gal are 2 Red Empress, which are both bigger than the convicts, a pleco and some cory cats.

So if you want a breeding pair, i would give them their own 29gal, or upgrade to a larger tank.

29g is fine for a pair of cons. I think the tiger barbs may be ok with them, but the guppies won't last long.
