Convict Grow Out

Huh? I think my original post was never answered. All the comments about 6 cons in a 10 gal didn't apply. The original question was would I be able to grow out 6 cons in a 10 gal tank. Not how many cons would live forever in a 10 gall tank, so when all the useless post like your other one in this thread appeared, I had no choice but to ignore.

I have to say I agree with vancouver here. Your original post asked "Would the 10 gal be suffecient to find me a breeding pair out of the 6?" and every response was on subject and regarding your question. You just weren't happy until someone came along saying "yes, it will be fine".

At the end of the day, you're here asking for advice and we are only giving you our opinions. There's no right or wrong answer. As Nevergone815 proves, it can work. But that's not to say it's a rule that it will, just that it has for him.

Okay, so............

6 cons will die in the 10 gal tank
6 cons in a 75-90 with an oscar and JD will be equally bad
convicts become convict in a 10 gal tank.

Are all sufficient answers to will convicts pair off in a 10 gal tank? Or whats the odds of me getting a pair out of 6? Yeah okay... Maybe I should have clarified they are all 1/2 inch -1 inch in size... Well, I did that. Maybe I should have said I have no intentions of leaving them in the 10 gal tank? Hmmm, did that too. I understand cons can be aggressive, but if I only can put a pair of 1/2 inch convicts in a 10 gal tank to grow out, then jeesh!

But we all know that's not the case.

I understand your thoughts are geared more long ranged, but I was just looking for answers that apply now-a-days. And if I didn't value opinions and advice from others I would have never asked.... I just don't value advice that doesn't go along w/ the topic.
