I have convict fry! How long does it take before the fry are free swimming. Right now they just stay at the bottom of the tank moving around. They look kinda like tadpoles. I was excited when I realized I had fry. I also had a striped raphael catfish in there. And when I trying to catch him to put him in my 55 gallon he got into the corner and ate some of the fry. I though he got them all but I guess he just stirred them up. So I guess I will just have the pair of convicts in my 29 gallon. I was relieved to see the catfish didn't get all my fry.
