Convict Cichlid Help!

they will ALLWAYS be skittish if there a "breding" pair (in other words, a single male and a single female) that is the nature of these fish. giving them PLENTY of space helps.. but if this behavior is destressing for you then convicts are NOT the right fish for you. there agressive, verry aggressive. they fight alot of the time. thats just convicts real hard to house them singularly wiht any other fish aswell, even other cichlids of double there size. live with it, or live without them
