Its been over 2 days since they were laid and the parents are alot more agressive and all the eggs are still there and they are digging more pitts. I think that they were fertilised.

Yep, their aggression is their worst feature. Unfertilised eggs will go white and start to grow fungus. The parents usually remove the affected eggs.

quick update> I can see black things(lines)in the eggs, I think that means that they are the fish...

the line is the tail, it should unwrap and start to trail off upwards, they will begin wriggeling at this point
