Convict Blenny Breeding?

there cichlids right? ive no idea how to breed them but i have been rearing some t-bar cichlids 
i think its all down to decent water parameters? i know mine decided to breed after i changed them into a tank with fresh water...within a few days they had breed lol so maybe this is the same for yours?? either way im intrested on how it go's so make sure you keep us posted if you get them to breed!

There is no Male and female physical differentiation, so if you have a pair which swims together and seem to have formed a pairing bond, then you should have an actual male-female pair.
Apparently they are very infrequent spawners, and will only spawn once or twice a year. Sexual maturity usually occurs at about a year of age an spawning can help to be prompted by providing various nutritional foods as well as good water quality. When laid, eggs are usually placed deep inside a burrow on the top of the cave. Generally 400-500 eggs per clutch.
Could not find any information on how long the incubation period is, mostly because the eggs often go unnoticed for quite some time because of their placement in the burrow. When born the fry are about 6mm in length will surround their parents, and the parents will protect the fry. From birth the fry can be fed NHBS (newly hatched brine shrimp) and it is recommended to separate them from the parents about a week after hatch.
Doesn't seem to be a very commonly breed species, but has been breed and fry have been raised successfully previously. It seems the fry are FAIRLY easy to raise because they are not pelagic but the species isn't so commonly breed because of the lack of frequent spawns. I used to be indecisive but now I'm not so sure!
The Convict blenny is neither a Blenny nor as its other name suggests (Engineer Goby) a goby! It is from the family Pholidichthyidae.
Good easy fish but has the name Engineer for a good reason
