Converting Juwel Rekord 70

Ive got a Juwel Rekord 70 and if i was to convert it to marine would i still need a skimmer, im getting a 240 litre marine in spetember but wanted to start off now.Apart from the LR what other filtration can i incorpatare in the internal filter or would a skimmer still be needed.

ys you would need a skimmer and you can buy an extrnal filter like a aqua 1 + or something to add some phosphate and ammonia remover in also i ave a wet and dry skim ehiem filter also

my skimmer is a tmc v2 400

I assume we're talking a 70 litre, aka 15-20 gallon tank? If so, dont bother with a skimmer until you upgrade to the larger tank.

oh yea didnt see that switch i thought was on a bout the

240 litre marine

but if you go with your jeaul rekord 70 like ski said dont bother wit a skimmer

Ok can you tell me what else would i need, and ifi didnt get a skimmer would that mean i will just need to change the water more often.
