Conures In Love!

I've posted WAY too many bird pics recently, but they're just so cute.

This was the first time i let Ozzy, My green cheeked conure, meet the new baby Ky and they love each other i think!!

Anyway, here's the pics. Ozzy was really gently breaking Ky's pin feathers! They look really uncomfortable so i think Ky was very grateful!!

But then Oz decided that the baby needed to be held down cos he wriggles too much!!

Then Ky started preening Ozzy

And last one.. Not a great pic but shows Ky's red back - Its pretty!

They're still snuggled up on me! Its not fair, im trying to do work for my assignment thats due in wednesday and they're being cute and distracting me!!!

Oooh, thanks for reminding me, i have to renew the insurance

So yes, they are insured. They're covered for death from accidents, illness etc, being stolen (but not for flying away) and vets bills are covered

Its expensive though

Awwwr. Makes me wish my parrots didn't despise each other with a passion! Of course, Pretty Bird despises everything with a passion (Amazons :eyeroll: ). I should have taken pictures of the big cage cleaning overhaul; had to take everyone out to do major hose-downs on their houses.

Ozzy is such a sweet little guy, he loves everyone! I guess thats quite unusual for a conure as they're usually grumpy little monsters But he's tried to preen and snuggle up to my Cape who just freaks out and runs away cos he's scared of anything thats not a person

Im glad he's got on so well with the new birdie though. Obviously i bought him for me, but i was hoping he'd be a companion for Oz as well

Oooh, and they were even cuter this afternoon! I so love my birdies!!! They're adorable..

Tell them to get a room? No!! They're far too cute! They're both male (Oz definately and Ky almost definately lol) so hopefully it wont go further than holding hands

Awwww I nominate the last picture of them for POTM. Beautifully coloured birds and in great condition. You obviously love them very much - and so does everyone else from the looks of it !
