Contemplating Tank Expansion

To be honest I stumbled accross Tropical Fish Forums whilst researching a DIY project - if the wife approves it of course.
 
Started keeping fish like many others with a tank in my bedroom, then another and another. Went to Uni and was only able to have the one tank. Moved around quite a lot over the years which has restricted the hobby a bit. Started with tropicals but found coldwater easier to manage but I am contemplating keeping tropicals again.

Personally, I wouldn't expand the tank, I'd just buy a bigger one.
