Diddle- it was not that you did not know, it was when told why you persitied with the saem plan and then said you preferred doing it to keeping something you said bored you.
If you learned something- then the collective efforts of folks here have done both you and your potential fish some good.
People often fail to grasp then when they put fish into a glass box, we have a responsibility for their care and well being. Nothing pretty much goes into or comes out of a tank that we do not cause. Many of us fish folks see no difference between failing to give fish a good home or keeping a dog chained in a yard never groomed or medicated and poorly fed. I am sure you would not consider doing that.
So if you have learned something from his thread- then all of us, including you, did good.
