Congo Tetras

Hi guys

In the fish shop they have some congo tetras that are about 5-6 inches big but i have read they dont get bigger then 3-4 inches can someone help

These congos at my pet shop are huge 2" high and up to 6" long its crazy

I have just bought some 5 Congos on Sunday and I love them..... I previously kepta few that were in excess of 5" .... but even so.... they remained to be good community fish. Congos are one of my favourite breeds......

Yeh i didnt no if there where different types lol

Till my grandad n when i saw tye massive ones in my lfs

Cant wait i have a male n female

Females got no colour just a silver

And males got the silver base colour and a yellow strip on dorsal

And a yellow strip on middle of tail with a black strip in the middle of the yellow

Not much colour yet as they are young 1" big about lol
