Hi im wondering if anyone has kept these 2 together successfully? I've added Congo tetra to my tank but because of mixed reviews I removed my amano to my boraras tank, but im wondering if I could have left them?
Anyone keep these 2 together?
Thank you

Ive not kept Amano's with Congo's but i have with similar sized barbs.

My Amano's wasnt ever harmed by the barbs but did tend to live in the background and up in the floating plants with bigger fish around

Since ive moved them to a tank with smaller fish they are everywhere.

Id say they would be fine with Congo's its just a case of how often you would see them

I have Amano shrimp, (and others), in with cherry barbs, copper harlequins, chilli rasboras, kuhli loach, a panda garra and a male dwarf gourami...all's good.
On the very rare occasion I've seen a fish paying closer attention to a shrimplet, said crustacean has ably demonstrated its instinctive survival skills, apparently using using quantum teleportation technique. ;)
