I have just bought 2 congo frogs. Don't really know much about them only what i have been advised at the fish shop.
They are in a tank with 4 guppies, 1 tiger barb, 2 scissor tails, 3 sword tails, 1 mollie.
I was told that they would all live happily together.
Hope this is true, but if anyone out there can give me any more advise i would be grateful :D :) :p

P.S are congo frogs the same as african dwarf frogs?

the tiger barb does not go with the guppies or scisor tails, it can nip their tails. take him out. i dont know about the rest. one of my favorite guppies was killed by a tiger barb. ( never trust the pet shops)

Some one on here told me that congo frogs are the same as african dwarf frogs and from the research i have done i think they are. I have mine in a seperate tank as i think it would starve in a tank full of fish. Do a google saerch on ADFs and you'll find all you need to know.

Ah but sometimes Congo Frogs can be mislabelled Clawed Frogs, the scourage of little fishies. If your frogs have webbed "hands" then they are Dwarf Frogs. If they do not then they are Clawed Frogs so take them back or get a 20gal tank for them!

Frogs get on with fish ok (I don't think they notice them really) but you may have difficulty ensuring that the frogs get enough food. Use a baster or pipette to feed them directly or the fish will get there first.
