many people have told me i cant keep more than one male dwarf gourami is this true because i would like to move my betta as hes to aggressive and maybe put in some dwarfs any thanks i have a 20 gallon 12 corys 8 black neon tera betta and a pleco

.com? lol, maybe go for honey's? Haven't kept any others but the honeys seem to be very placid

are dwarf gouramis easier to keep in a community tank as ive seen my neon tetra drop dead like crazy because of my overly aggressive betta which i moved to a 2 gallon

I have a male Dwarf in with Neons, male guppies, platies, and cories. He only chases the platies a little. The platies pick on each other more, and that seems to get the Dwarf riled up. The Dwarf just charges at them then turns away. Before the Dwarf, I tried a female Betta, and she chased and tried to bite everything.

at that stocking you are pretty much 'full' anyway.

Changing the betta for a DG would be fine.....but certianly not two of them in that tank. Highly territorial with other males of the same species. One will be bullied, likely to the death.

sorry about the misinformation i only have 10 cory cats 4 neon tetra and a pleco who i will be giving away the betta i moved because it was just to overly aggressive towards my other fish
