conecting tanks

i have two ten gallons that i want to conect to eachother via some sort of clear tube so the fish can swim back and forth between the two. has anyone ever done this/have any idea how to do it? id imagen that as long as i can pressurize the tube, it shouldnt be an issue to have the tube rainbow the tanks. im not quite sure what kind of tube to use either. still brainstorming and id love any imput.
