Why do that, its much more challenging and rewarding if you get two and try to breed them.

I read they have been bred in captivity. They start out sexually undifferentiated develop into females and under social stimulus will develop into male w/1 or more females in his territorial herem. From Robert Fenners The Conscientious Marine Aquarist.
 
Yeah they have been bred, but such few amounts that not enough is known about captive breeding, and not enough people are doing it to find ways to get a large survival rate for the hatched fry. Many marine fish have been bred in captivity at least once.

It would be great if more people got involved in the "breeding" movement.
