Hey Guys,

I always like to make sure that all my fish are compatible with each other before i purchase them. Current stock is as follows
15 x serpae tetra's
1 x 35cm black ghost knife
2 x common brisselnose
2 x bala sharks

Just wondering if these fish are compatable

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers, Trent

I do hope your tank is over 6ft. You'll need that for the Knife and Silver sharks alone.
The sharks are a shoaling fish and require atleast 75 gallons just for a group of 5.
The ghost fish needs atleast 50 gallons for the one alone. They do grow bigger than 35cm, the max is over 50. They are also nocturnal hunters and will literally hunt down any fish it can catch in it's mouth.

I would seriously re-research the fish you plan on keeping, those are no where near compatable.

hence the reason i asked..... my tank is over 800L in capacity. tank is equivalent to a 8 x 2 x 2. (its a corner tank 5 foot one corner, 4 foot on the other corner and 3 foot high)

Ah damnit.
I was afarid of that.
Fine go ahead, have your massive fish and I'll just sit here all jealous..
-_-

sounds like a cool tank! any chance of some pictures? also i would loose the bristlnose plecs not sure how they would be around a ghost knife. i also would think about getting more bala sharks perhaps four as they like to kept in groups.

ill get some pics when i can. the plecs are fine, they just keep in the drift wood and dont bother anyone. i did have some other bala's 35cm but they died when the heater shat itself (water temp got to over 34 degrees c :( )
