As I mentioned in a reply to a previous post, I managed to get a pair of orange lazer cory at my lfs that were traded in. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get anymore of these and I feel really bad. I got them a sterbai friend. They liked him, but when I got more sterbai, they became shy and spent most of their time hiding in the coconut hut. Aquabid has lazers, but it gets really expensive with the shipping and it's starting to get cold in Buffalo this time of year. Also, I'd really prefer to see them in person. It is an option though.

So, I was wondering if you had any suggestion of cory friends that might be more harmonious? The sterbai even have a slightly different body shape and are way more active than my lazers. I was wondering, since this species was thought to be the same as the bronze cory at one time, if they might be similar enough? (Please correct me if I'm wrong! So much info on here I might have gotten it jumbled ) I know that more orange lazers would be best, but it doesn't seem to be a possibility for now. I know green lazers would be similar, but I have never seen those. Your advice? Suggestions for new friends? LFS told me that any cories would bond and school together, but this isn't really the case with my kids. -_-

Also, I love the sterbai. I'm definitly keeping them. I have another tank that the lazers and their buddies-to-be can populate. Or should I wait until Spring? They have such cute little muppet faces! I don't want them to be sad. Thanks for your help!
