New tank, beginner fish tanker.

I have a 29 gallon that I bought used. It came, with among other things, a 2.5 inch albino cory. The other fish are a zebra loach, a falowella and an African Butterfly fish. I've read the cory needs mates (as does the zebra loach?). I'm assuming, but thought I better check, that this big guy/gal would like a little albino cory and they will become fast and fabulous friends and mates. Would a zebra loach require the same? Sort of dread that because of hi/her tendency to grow large. I think I can handle just this one and I'm assuming s/he has been without a partner for some time.

I still have to clean my tank up and was advised on that from great folks at this site... just thinking ahead about how I might be interested in stocking this.

Thanks,
K

4 more corys... they like to be in groups of at least 3+

edit: Welcome to the forums

you will defo enjoy the cory more if you up the numbers to 4+ also the cory will be more secure with mates about. i would go for the same species, you say its an albino so im guessing its an albino aeneus so you could get more albinos or bronze corys as these are the same :good:

I agree cories of 4 or more,it would be good to keep the same type either albino or bronze :)

Also with your loach, they tend to grow to 4 inches or so and would do well with another 4 of the same.so it's up to you whether to sell it on or get it some tank mates :)
