What Kinds of non shoaling fish could be added to a community tank. For example I know you could keep 1 Angel if you wanted to but what other types would not be too bothered about being on their own.

...You could Keep A Gourami in a community, without having to keep more than 1. > the 'Pearl', 'Golden' , 'three-spot', 'Lace' , or the smaller 'Red Dwarf' or 'Honey' Gourami should be o.k. (The chasing/bullying has occurred between Gouramies in my tanks in the past, so 1 amongst smaller Tetras, Livebearers, Danios etc.. should be Nice.

> How about a smaller Cichlid such as A Krib, Bolivian Ram, Blue Ram, Agassiz' Dwarf, Rainbow....?

Yeah I already have 2 dwarf gouramis, 1 orange and 1 blue and the orange one defo seems to chase and nip the blue 1. Got Danios and corys also just wondered what single species I could add. Are the Rams easy to get at LFS. How big are they?

Rams are usually available....they Grow to about 3.5 inches.
(Betta Aquaria in Byker or Cyber Aquatics in Team Valley, or Chilton Aquatics near Durham should have some)

> Get a couple of flower-pots/ slate caves in and they will like it.

if you wanted one you could get them quite easliy

Cyber aquatics on the valley is where I usually go anyway. I will have a check at the weekend. 3.5 inches is not really to bad. How many is a good number to get would you say.

i would go with the bolivian ram as the blue and golds require soft acidic water to thrive also angel fish are shooling fish just like discus

denisonnii barb, or red line torpedo. although with the recent press about become endangered, dont know if i will buy any more!

I would ask them if they can order in some, if they haven't any.....You could try to get a pair, but not too many if you are keeping Angels also.....(Do you still want some Angels by the way?)
