I was wondering if they can see good, my lfs they see color but they also chat alot of sugar.

I have also heard that they can see colour, but in the wild they are nocturnal and sense by vibration so I imagine it is mot quite as good as most fishes.

Did yours come out in the day?
Mine always out and about cleaning and such, he hogs all of the bloodworm to.
Just got mine to handfeed to!

I rehomed mine when it was around 7 inches and up to that point he used to love his cave during the day. My rusty on the other hand is out all the time...

Despite what people say mine does a great job of keeping the tank glass clean and clearing out the algae!
