Hi there
I am wondering if anyone can give me some tips as to how I can stop my 3/4 inch mono's (Monodactylus argenteus) from nipping at my 4 inch Columbian Sharks (Arius seemani)?
I have had two columbian sharks for 2.5 months now and added 3 mono's 6 days ago. I am noticing that one of the mono's is picking on one of his own and also nipping on the columbian sharks. They are fed Tetra flakes, blood worms and Shrimp Pellets...Everyone looks healthy and there are lots of hiding spots in my 55 gallon tank...all levels are perfect and no one seems to be picking on the two mollies...any help would be greatly appreciated as I got the tank for the sharks. I have started some Melafix treatment to try and replenish the sharks fins...
Research online is telling me that the sharks should be the aggressive fish in the tank as they are bigger not the little monos?
Please help!
Jeff
