Hello everyone im new to this site,i subscribed after reading some of the discussions and agreed that this is a very helpful site.I am having a problem with my shark. He is an 8inch columbian that was raised in freshwater all his life and when i picked him up from the petstore about 1 month ago, i instantly started to increase his tanks salt level to ultimately brackish. He ate the first few weeks but has recently stopped eating about a week or two ago. (Current water)Ammonia-0ppm,nitrate 15ppm,nitrite-0ppm,ph 8.2...I have been talking to a buddy of mine,he said the adding of the salt to his tank should not have been the problem. Im feeding all kinds of things, things he used to be very eager to eat. He is currently in a 40g tall(36" long) until his 55 is done cycling.I know this is too small but he was eating for the first few weeks,so i doubt this is the problem. Not a lot of current right now(until moved to 55),basically a 170gph powerhead, filter, and air stone as far as water movement.A buddy of mine told me to check the heater for moisture and i have found a mass amount of bubbles on the bottome of the heater, kinda like water drops on a mirror after a hot shower. Hes been bashing the heater around like a toy ever since hes been in there,im surprised its still working lol. If anybody has any questions for me or any way they can help(apart from the obvious size of tank and current) please do,i would really appreciate it.

Well he has finally began to eat again, which is a huge relief.
