Hi,
can you breed two different colour bettas as long as they are the same type. eg, a red crowntail with a black one?

You can technically breed any tail type with any other tail type, and any color with any color type. There are no restrictions to breeding (except that we discourage breeding veil tails)
 
Two CT's would be quite good, not sure what sort of colours you'd get with offspring but could be interesting. Are they siblings or two diff. spawnings :good:
 
Hi if you're planning to join a show then Red x Black or Red x Blue is a NO ! because they will produce undesirable colors for competitions.

But for pets then you can definitely do it goodluck :good:
