As some background, my little betta has a bacterial/fungal infection and I've been continuing to treat him with Bettafix until I can go to the store on tuesday and get harder medication (it doesnt seem to be completely going away).

Mostly he has clear/white-ish feces (and that's all I've seen for all of the two months that I've had him), and in his medical tank I do see some tiny specs of white poop from today as well. However, I looked into the tank just now, and I saw a large slushy... "thing" in the tank, It was the size of a small baby snail, so I was... really confused (since I have poor eyesight). I was able to get a sample, and it was kind of like this algae/mosslike consistency, somewhat the same as human diarrhea. It was completely dark green, the same as underwater moss or algae, but the tank, do to its small size (1/2 gallon) is cleaned every morning.

The water temperature inside is: 77 degrees, stable.

I've never seen him do anything like this before... and I have no live plants in there right now, along with gravel (because he's sick) so there isn't anything else that could've produced it.

Any thoughts, advice, opinions, or knowledge of what it means as a health related symptom?

maybe he was constipated? or lacking some good bacteria in his belly from the non medicated tank? im just guessing though.

Does the tank have a good lid? Could something have gotten in there from outside and rotted in the water?
