Ok I have had this balloon molly for about 5 months. She has always been sort of the loner, an outcast lets say. She is normally a pearly white color, but last night when i was feeding them she was gray! Not a sickly gray, more like a silver. She is still silvery this morning. Does this mean she's sick? (but other than the color she appears to be fine) or do i just have a crazy fish?

Is this fish the only one that has this condition? Are there any others that seem faded? You might try a water change to see if the color returns. keep us posted. :)

I did about a 25% water change yesterday. Yes, this is the only fish who has seemed to have changed color. I noticed that she is looking a little bigger in the tummy. It wouldn't surprise me if she was pregnant. Do you think this would have an effect on her color? Like I said before, she doesn't appear to be sick, she swims normally and eats normal amounts, she is just silvery grey especially on her back(her belly is still mostly white though)! I recently started to feed my mollies bloodworms to help enhance their color..... maybe this would affect her? I DONT KNOW... :( I mean its a nice color and I have seen mollies this color before at stores, but I thought it was just so weird that she changed color!
