Hey thanks. Yeah I want to see how well it works on Ich, if it works at all on Ich.juliethegr8t said:You can find it at most health or natural food stores. I haven't used it, but from what I've heard it's pretty awesome - if you can afford it (I can't!), I'd say go for it - won't hurt, so it might help any infections.
If your going to get some...don't be cheap, get as high of a ppm as you can affordFishHeads said:I want to see how well it works on Ich, if it works at all on Ich.
What is the highest ppm you can get?wuvmybetta said:If your going to get some...don't be cheap, get as high of a ppm as you can affordFishHeads said:I want to see how well it works on Ich, if it works at all on Ich.
I don't know if I posted this or not....What is the highest ppm?wuvmybetta said:If your going to get some...don't be cheap, get as high of a ppm as you can affordFishHeads said:I want to see how well it works on Ich, if it works at all on Ich.
Alright, well if I can't seem to get my Goldfish to mouthfeed it...may I just dropper it into their general vecinity?wuvmybetta said:Ok FishHeads
I can pretty much promise you that it works on ich...here's what just happened over here
I've had my midas for 8 days, I've yet to do a water change just because I was scared to crash his tank but something kept telling me I should do a partial. I went over to check his filters and noticed how gross they were so I thought "ehhh,I'll rinse his floss and clean up his filters" then I noticed the tiniest white spot on his red nose I'll bleep out the profanities but needless to say I was p.o.ed,it was clearly the beginning of ich, I've only dealt with it once before but it's pretty easy to diagnose so I was certain. I did a 10% change while he beat the gravel vac showing no mercy , afterwards I held the dropper half full of 500 ppm silver over the water, I knew he'd come up thinking it was bloodworms,I squirted the silver directly in his mouth while he slurped and what he didn't drink sat on his face for a second (you can see it's brown tint in the water) anyway....he sped off a little upset that it wasn't food and within 30 minutes the white spot was gone ...GONE!
So if at all possible, give it directly to your fish, I seem to remember that goldfish will mouth the surface at feeding time so it should be easy for ya
As of right now Neo and Trinity (One is a white and black comet *neo* and the other is a femal white comet *trinity*) are broken out severly only on their tail fins...But it's COVERING the entire surface area of the fin. None of my other goldifsh seem to have it because the tank is loaded with salt not too much though* and I have Maracide in there *second day of treatment*. Trinity only has it on the bottom half of her tail fin so far.wuvmybetta said:yuppers, that should work. Are they all terribly broke out with ich?
