Collecting Zoas

Thinking of popping up to the beach at low tide tonight and collecting some of the zoas that grow there. Has any one collected zaos from the wild? Is there a safe way to harvest and cause them minimal stress? I assume it would be similar to fragging them and getting them off a rock that is already in the aquarium.

Sharp knife, scrape them off the rock, bring em home and stick em on another rock?

I would imagine it would be better to take some of the rock with you, if you can chisel a lump off with som zoa's attached then you won't have to stress them to much.

yeah i just don't really like the idea of chiseling off rocks. Although, yes, i already am taking from the wild, my conservation side doesn't agree with chiseling.
