Cold Corals

Hey, did anyone else catch this news story?

Surely a coldwater reef would complete any aquarists collection?

Probably would be a nightmare to run (and keep cool with all equipment) but would be an immense feeling of achievement to get one going. However I don't think we'll see it too soon...

Would be very difficult. The main problem being feeding. with most coldwater reefs being so deep down, the corals must rely 100% of plankton as food and not light. it would be like trying to keep a tank of dendronepthia alive. As well as some of the other problems such as heat.

I think its an immence feeling of achievement keeping any s/w aquarium going. Cool none the less
