hi nick cut them above the t conecter/have they got white lines down both wires or is 1 full line and the other 1 broken lines?

Cut off the cable from the transformer where it joins the crucifix connector (4-way one). Split the two cores. The one with the solid white line is the positive

so i cut it before the four way thing and pull the 2 cables apart. they both have solid white lines.

yip/ conect the wires to your lights if thay are right your lights will come on/if not switch the wires over.it will do no harm

Cut and strip the power supply wire/flex as shown in the picture. Join the two wires to the red and black wires that lead to the inverter. If you get them the wrong way round and it doesn't work, simply switch the wires over.
