Cold cathode

Can i just ask i no it may sound stupid but thats me. Are cold cathodes water proof (not being put in water just of water condenseing on them) or will it short them out and damage the lite?

It depends what ones you get... ours are in plastic tubes.

hhhm its the two 4inch ones from ebuyer so i dunno yet cos they aint arrived yet? and i cant tell from the pics

they will probubly be the same then ( i get mine at car shows but are for PCs too)

The will have little perspex cubes at each end with a tube between then. one end will be sealed - the other will have the 2 wires coming out of it.
