coffee table fish tank

I've seen these set up @ shirley Aquatic. But they would never put fish in it. They have it as a water feature, with a light and blue glass. It looks really nice.

Another Thing, How much stress would the fish be in when you hoover the room. All that noise, nice Idea but not for Fish.

I'd rather have my fish where i can see them than kicking around on the floor, my stand is home made B) It's still holding out so far!

despite being an attractive looking item I personally wouldn't own one. Sure it would be a great conversation piece but they must be hell to maintain properly. Plus, think of the horror of leaving the house one day to find that someone has smashed/cracked/knocked over it or moved it to a very hot, sunny spot in the room!

More hassle than it's worth imo

hmm. Could add cloth on top to provide more queit and hide condensation. Anyway, end table or the clock one might be nice. Still don't understand how you would clean or feed fish or filter in ANY of those types, but I like them.

strange thought here----- could be possible maybe. I'd like a built in tank in my motorhome. Built special to allow strong glass and noise reduction yet let me have fish on the road with me, too bad I don't have this figured out yet before I move. lol. Not certain if it would be possible, but would sure be cool. Think of singers taking their pet fish with them on tour. lol
i was thinkin on the filter too, and how would you feed them?????????? i guess there should be a little kinda opening to feeed them...i think that its looks pretty cute :) i would do it...... like

buy it and obviously the top should not be glued ....so i would get the top to a place where it could be cut out, and do a medium opening...... so that way i can put an internal filter, a heater and let Oxygen go to the tank :) but i would use it like a "coffee" table but besides the sofa or chair.... and next to the wall so i can hide all those cables :)

is it good my idea ? or wrong? and about the sound....wasnt that fishes could hear but sense?? so i guess the keys or anything else wouldnt be a problem as long as you put it nicely :)

edited: i got some info on it
