Coconut Cave

Hi there
I have made a few coconut caves for my tanks but im not sure how long to saok them for?
I have boiled them for 20 mins then chaged the water and boiled them again.
The water is nearly clear now but its taking hours to boil them as i can only do them one at a time.
Can i just soak them or should i carry on with the boiling?

Don't quote me on this, but I have heard you need to boil them for 6 hours...
