I have a cobalt blue crayfish. We have only one but she has produced a bunch of eggs and made a nest and has stopped eating. Will these eggs hatch without a second crayfish?

Hello,

How long have you had her?

I do not know about cobalt blues, but I do have Australian Red Claws, and I do know that they mate before the female lay her eggs.
So... if the anatomy is the same, and that you've only just recently got her, my guess is that the eggs are fertile; she got inseminated at the lfs.. just wait it out...
They'll hatch eventually.

Try asking in the inverts section, or ask a mod to shift this there. The people there might be more of a help.

can you post a pic? i could do with knowing what you have, as cobalt blue Cray can be any species ! as khenghock says Redclaw need to mate before eggs can be produced. but some Cray can carry sperm, for quite some time before they use it to fertilise eggs!
