Parts finally arrived. Even made a mounting bracket for it. 6mm fittings each side.

Cost £0 perks of the job.

But would have cost £20 for the solenoid and £0.85p per 6mm fitting.
Plug and wire would cost pennies and braket from a scrap peice of metal.
So prob about £25 at most.

Its a 4W solenoid, a little higher than some awuarium ones at 2.5W and I've seen one at 1W. But 4W wont over heat at all.

:fun:

Turns the CO2 supply off at night to save pumping it into the tank when it's dark and the plants won't use it.

What co2 setup do you have? is it Diy as well or a store bought kit?

Going to be fully pressurised Dupla system. Just making bits I can so its a little cheaper.

Does the Dupla regulator only fit a Dupla co2 bottle or will it fit a regular co2 cylinder, any ideas?
