teaspoon in each bottle, evry bottle must be the same.

Get CO2 tubing otherwise airline can eventually crack and leak.

were i got some stuff yesterdday I may have lost one of the brass nipples but i think i know where it is... anyway first pic is of the t connector second is of a valve I got just incase, third pic is of the brass nipple that isnt missing and the forth is of the airline(i just picked up 10 feet so ill probobly have some extra)

Just bought same kinda kit from my local LFS here in Portsmouth - (actually its for a 3 way bubbler - ie 1 air-pump supplying 3 tanks) but the kit is exactly the same - plastic 3 way connector and some airline tubing (plus the none-return valve for the CO2 kit) - cost me less than £5 .....I bet your brass connections which seem like overkill to me cost a lot more.....!

I use the home made CO2 kit for my 377L planted tank indoors and it seems to last about 5 weeks before the CO2 production starts to deplete. I notice a difference in the plants within about 2 weeks, not sure if this is normal but sometimes I forget to change the mixture and it runs out so I have to start over. I run my airline tubing down into the tank and directly into the bottom of the filter intake - this way the CO2 is drawn up the intake tube and into the cannister filter where the pump impellor acts as a kind of diffuser - the resulting very small bubbles are then driven back up into the tank and pushed out via the spray bar which is pointed down the back of the tank and not across the surface to maximise the CO2 into the tank water.

ok ur talking about an external filter right? i did look at the lfs but they had nothing that would really be helpful but it wasnt to bad it was like 13 $ all together

lol idk its just everywhere i read said a fizzy drink bottle so i didnt know if it had to be like a drink that was carbonated. lol nvm stupid question...

bakers yeast will do fine but brewers yeast can support a higher content of alcohol so it will last longer
