About a month ago, I bought a Ferplast CO2 system from my lfs. They told me that the cylinder would last about 2 months if I had it on throughout the day at 2-3 bubbles per second and that I should turn it off at night.
The first cylinder ran out two weks after I had set it up and followed their instructions, so I took it back and they replaced it for me. The problem is, that was 2 weeks ago and the second cylinder has just run out!
The cylinder is approx 1 litre and says it contains 500g CO2.
First of all, are the instructions that the lfs gave me correct? Second, how long should the cylinder last?
Any help would be appreciated.
