Is there any benefit of running both pressurised CO2 & liquid carbon ???

Don't want to waste money if there is no benefit

in effect there is some benefit. IME, dosing Easycarbo/Excel gives you a little leeway while getting your pressurised sorted. It also works as an algaecide which is also of benefit.

I'm not quite up-to-scratch on this sort of stuff (although more so than I was a few months ago), as far as I understand, if you can afford pressurised, use that and forget about liquid because liquid cannot be used by a number of plants and can actually harm some. I imagine it is also less fatal to slightly overdose on the gaseous, rather than liquid, carbon. On the other hand, (polycyclo?)glutaraldehyde is an algaecide.

Edit: ian got to it while I was still typing :)

Yep as mentioned twice above, algae killer just check your plants won't be negatively effected
