But please tell me that you are not intending on spending any money on your test!
You may have to regulate the air from the airpump going into the Rhinox (or whatever), put a small hole in the line, something like that.
It would be nice to know before & after results to see if CO2 levels either go up, go down or stay the same. To this end, can you measure KH and pH throughout the day, the day before the test starts (to get a good baseline of results to test against) and then test in a similar fashion after introducing the air-diffusor to the tank in a similar manner for 2 to 3 days thereafter. Water changing best avoided during the testing period....
Results should then be valid to some extent, i.e. <, = or > as a % increase.
