Clownfish!

1.5" - tiny little things.
Had a bad day the other day - can I suggest that ANY gaps in the roof/lid are covered up? cloth/tape/perspex, whatever. My female jumped, through a gap that (I presume it was that gap) was about 11mm wide. They're great little fish though huh?

I would second covering your tank, especially if its not very deep. I had a small clown jump through about a 1" square cut out of the egg crate cover (the only spot on the whole tank where there was a gap big enough for it to get through!).

ive got a lid so its not all that bad, i will use some tap to cover up the holes in the back where the equipment comes in, thanks for your help. And yes, the clownfish are awesome, first marine fish i have brought and im very pleased, mine cost £16 for the pair so for the price they are even better :hyper:

ooh, and ive got my RO unit working, producing 0 TDS water, although after 1 use the TDS meter isnt turning on, ive contacted the company i purchased it from so hopefully it can be resolved- it cant be the batteries really, apparently they have a life of 2 years.

thanks guys!

Just sorted a few things out. Brought:

Koralia nano powerhead

Test kits-salifert.

Lighting: This consists of a new 15w ballast, so my total lighting will now be: 35w, and the tubes are all t6, 40% more light than t8, so should help the cause for corals.

i have also got to decide on phosphate remover(and quantity), and rock putty(and quantity),

i havnt a clue!

Adam
