Since I have owned a clown Plec, 2 of my BN have died they had been in there 6 months.

I bought a small Common Also as i am upgrading my tank just after christmas.

That Died to.

I have rearranged the tank and am looking for options.

Possibly a swap for a BN. Or Giving him away as i would rather have BN or a less agressive one.

Can anybody give me some advice tank been set up since april, i pride my self on regular wather changes.

Not overly stocked.

wat are ur water stats?
wat size is ur tank?

ur clown pleco will have nothing to do with the deaths of the othr plecos!

I don't think it's the Clown either...I have one, and just added an Upside Down Catfish. The poor Clown is always having to move, because the cat just bumbles around, everywhere! Are you certain they are getting enough food?

I have a mature clown pleco in my 36 gal tank with a young BN. I never have any problems. They don't bother each other only during feeding time will the clown be a little pushy but that's it.

You need to check everything out. Do you have other fish in the tank? You could be getting sick fish try another store.

Your nitrate are kind of high.

A good reason why a pleco might become aggressive is lack or hide outs. These guys really need to feel safe and have a home a nice cave or some type of covering. If they are in the open with no place to call home that will stress them out.

The water might have been off when you added the new fish and the stress of being in water they were not use to could have killed them.
