Actually Laura - just hang ten until someone can confirm what they think it is. I know it's definitely not a Clown Plec, but looking at those pics closely, I don't think it's an L001 either. Your fish is light background with dark spots. The L001 is exactly the opposite way around !
Either way, it certainly has the characteristics for a fish that will grow large.

It looks like a juvinile Gibby to me (sailfin) its markings are teh wrong way round for a L001

as already said - you've got a few months

It does however look like a VERY nice example

Ah that's what I actually said at first - hence Laura's first comment referring to a Sailfin (before I then edited my post).

Sailfin even larger Laura - but luckily it's still small and easier to find a home for it.
