clown loaches

I heard about ich probs AFTER I bought my clowns. I was lucky enough to never have a problem (knocks on wood). I even think mine were about 1- 1 1/2 inches when I got them about 9 months ago, and they've double in size already. I love those guys.

Well that's good that you haven't had a problem. I've never had ich problems with mine either thank gosh.

Ive a pair of clown loaches in my tank. Never had any trouble with them so far. Had them around 2 months now.

However, they do hide! Can go all day without seeing them as they have found sanctuary under my bogwood

Clowns do definately like to hide at times

I have four of them and so far all four are heathly and active. No signs of ich or disease. Their colors are deep and vibrant and they get along with their tankmaets. I've only had them for about 5 days so far though. I've been lucky to only have ich once in one of my tanks and no fish died so I'm hoping my lucky streak goes on. The LFS I bought mine from is one I actually used to work at and I know how they treat the fish and new arrivals so I'm expecting them to be alright. They're all fairly small, under 1.5 inches and one isn't quite an inch so I'll have to keep an eye out for any of the above problems. temperature is around 78 too so no one should be suffering sniffles. :p
