Clown Loaches Would Like New Home

Hi all,

As the titles says, my mothers 3 clown loaches need a new home. I've finally persuaded her that our 250L tank is too small and she has come round to the idea of giving them a new home, because they deserve it!

I dont want to post the fish, but would be willing to travel a reasonable distance. I'm in kent at the moment, is there anyone out there in my part of the country that could give these fish the space they deserve?

Try "vickiandkev" here on the forum, they are based in London and have a 30+ group of Clown Loaches of all sizes in a home-made 8x4(x4?) tank.

im sure theyve closed that tank down recently as they was having problems with their landlord

see if your local fish shop will accept them in exchange for something more suitable for the tank
my local ones do offer this service but you dont get much for them
also try them on ebay but state in the listing theyre collection only and you might be suprised what they sell for i recently sold 3 clown loaches at 5"-6" in size and they fetched £43 and was promptly collected or also try aquarist classified they should sell on there too

Hi all,

sorry for not logging in and checking sooner, had a few things to sort out.

Being that I saw Lestat's PM first, I'll let him reply first to see if we can come to some arrangement. I also like the fact that he has 30 clowns in his tank, as my clowns really need more of their own kind.

They are still available, Croydon is not too far so could be a viable option. I'll update as soon as i've got a reply.
